- To disable Google Hangouts on your phone:
- Go to your settings.
- Go to all apps.
- Find Hangouts and tap the information button in the app.
- Clear data for this app, or uninstall updates(or uninstall it).
Open the Hangouts app on your iPhone or Android.
Select the desired conversation.
Tap the three dots in the top-right corner of your screen, then tap “Options.”
Tap “Delete Conversation.” A confirmation message with a delete option appears at this time.
If you delete your Hangouts message history in Gmail, the messages will be removed from Google Hangouts. Messages are only shown as deleted after they’re also removed forever in Gmail. Learn more about deleting items in Gmail. In order for two-way deletions to take effect, messages should be sent directly to or from our enterprise product, google chat.
Open Google Chrome and click the icon in the top right corner to open settings. Select “More Tools” from the list and (if not already on) toggle off “Extensions”. To remove Hangouts entirely, simply press “Remove” instead.
Drag down the notifications panel and click on the “Settings” cog.
Click on “Apps”, then select “Applications”.
Scroll down and click on “Google Hangouts”.
Click on the Force Stop button and select Disable option.
Delete Tap Photos from Hangouts. Select the album with the photos you want to delete. Tap the photo to delete.
