It is impossible to delete a target account. A target account will be deleted only if all of its user accounts are deleted and the device associated with it has been returned. If you erroneously select an active, working number for your target phone number while performing this process, please immediately contact Ting support at [email protected] and we will assist you in deleting the incorrect number from your plan type.
How do I change my target phone number?
Once you have selected a target phone number, it cannot be changed until 30 days have elapsed or the submission itself has been canceled by reaching out to Ting Support directly using the form below:
This will result in the target phone number being removed from your plan and a new one being added for free. Please note that it is not possible to cancel or change a target phone number if less than 30 days have elapsed since adding that particular number to your bill cycle.
How do I add another target phone number?
It is not possible to add another target phone number, but you can cancel your old one after 30 days has elapsed by reaching out to Ting Support directly using the form below: This will result in a new target phone number being assigned for free. Please note that it is not possible to submit another phone number within 30 days of adding a particular telephone number to your account plan type as this would require a new 30 day waiting period.
You can submit another request within 30 days of the date you submitted your previous target number request, but it will result in Ting retaining that particular telephone number on your account plan type for an additional month as well. This is an interim measure to prevent abuse of this service. If we believe that you are abusing this service, we reserve the right to remove any and all targets from your account with no refund.
The target account doesn’t show up in my dashboard! If this is the case, please check that all of your API keys was properly set. One possible cause for this is an invalid access token used by our system. To check if it’s an issue with an access token simply head over to Settings > App credentials and verify that everything look correct there (e.g. without spaces).

My account was deleted by mistake or I forgot my password! Unfortunately we don’t have any recovery options for a target account, the only thing you can do is create a new one on Facebook. In order to see if it’s possible to restore your account, read our blog post here.

To delete your account, simply visit the “Delete Account” web page and enter your user ID/nickname and password.
To delete all your Shopping List items, open the Target app. Select the To Go tab from the main menu. Pull up on the list overlay to display all of your lists and select Delete All from the three dots.
