Swipe down from the Home screen to open the Apps tray. Accounts and backup accounts settings Tap Settings Accounts and backup Accounts. Open the Email app and log in to your account. Select an email in your inbox by tapping and holding it. Locate the small circular icon marked “All” in the upper left corner of the screen. Click the Delete button located in the lower-right corner of the screen.
Tap Email on the home screen. You may also go to Email in Apps. Select Manage Accounts from the menu then Delete Account. Tap Done once you’ve selected the account you want to remove. You’ll be asked whether you want to delete the account; confirm by checking Yes.
To remove a Gmail account, go to Settings and scroll down. The Settings gear icon may be found by swiping down from the Home screen.
